The Wheatley Horticultural Society hosted ‘Living Landscapes:
A Southwest Symposium’ on February 22, 2025 in Wheatley, ON.

A sold out event, we hosted 140 guests from all across southern Ontario, including Toronto, London, and Windsor. A great deal of time and effort was invested by the organizers into creating an exciting and professional event, from securing industry and trade leader sponsors; sourcing respected guest speakers; locating the venue; engaging a team of volunteers; and inviting four local Wheatley restaurants to offer a variety of lunch options, curating an inclusive menu sure to please all. All of these thoughtful, mindful gestures made for a memorable event for all attendees.

The ambition and dedication dedicated to realizing the vision for this event was rewarded by positive and enthusiastic feedback from community members and attendees alike:

I had a great time. Everything was well organized. Very proud of my hometown. Thanks to all the organizers, sponsors and speakers. Hoping this becomes an annual event too.

What an absolutely wonderful day! So informative, well-organized and fun! Thanks to knowledgeable speakers and presenters, but most of all for the incredible hard work of the Wheatley Horticultural Society!

I learned so much yesterday! The event was well, planned and organized, the speakers were relevant and informative, and lunch was yummy! Thank so much to everyone involved in this event. Hoping to come back next year!!
