What a sensational parade! Thank you to all the organizations and businesses that took the time to enter a float. We know how much time, organization, and wattage goes into putting together such a display.
In particular, the Horticultural Society wants to thank Santa for riding on our float! We are honoured to host him. Gary Moody leads the charge on putting together our float. Every year we add a few more lights – Gary figures we had about 1000 to light up Santa this year! Deb and Gary Wenzler provided a beautiful sleigh for Santa to ride in, as well as other decor. The BIA loaned us sound system so we can all hear the jolly star of the show. The biggest thank you of all goes to the behind the scenes volunteers, the Fish Fest Committee and Firefighters who get everyone headed down Erie by running registration, helping with generators and sound systems, putting up the baricades and more.
